Sunny Rae Oglesby might be to Levi what Diana was to Prince Charles
– a very young and inexperienced woman who fell in love with a public figure and
improved his likability. And what’s not to like? Sunny, like Diana, gives
every appearance of being genuine in every way. Both were working with young
children when they caught the eye of a certain young man. Sunny, glows with the
anticipation of “happily-ever-after” in a household that is going to welcome a
newborn; if you can remember 1981, you saw that look on the Princess of York.
In 1981 there was Camilla, the ex, if you will, a woman that
Diana knew about and tried to befriend in what might have been an attempt to
practice the adage “keep your friends
close and your enemies closer.” Sunny
tried to be civil with Bristol, Met her for lunch. Talked with her about
Tripp. According to Sunny, Bristol used
their meeting to try to put Levi down. No doubt that’s true.
How does this comparison bode for Sunny? Well, it’s not
good. A few years of happiness, and then the witch re-emerges to cast her
spell. I sure hope Diana and Charles marital history doesn’t repeat itself with
Sunny and Levi, but that woman no one else would look at twice in all of England
and the woman from Wasilla whose face changes every few months have a lot in
common from my distant observation. Looking at either of them (Camilla as a
younger woman) you see jealousy and meanness carved on their faces. Putting
what’s best for the children doesn’t get in their way. Church be damned, they
will have sex outside of marriage if they want to and with whom they so please.
And sneaky? And cutting? Oh yeah, those things are included in the package. Would
either of them step away once their old lover has settled down and started a
family with a sweet girl who just happens to be quite easy on the eyes? Nope.
Of course Levi isn’t Prince Charles. The only one who would
think of Levi as a prince is Sunny Oglesby. But, like Prince Charles, Levi was smitten by a
girl others would have run from. Levi Johnston is forever connected to Bristol
Palin. And Levi did return to her in the summer of 2010, even after she had treated
him horribly on every level and flogged
him relentlessly in front of a world of witnesses. The chemistry must be so
powerful that none of Levi’s human functions, are strong enough to resist. That
may sound strange to you, but look at a picture of Camilla Bowles side by side
with Princess Di circa 1985 and give me a better explanation than chemistry at
its most potent.
There is the potential for this soap opera to run longer than The Guiding Light. I'd have inspiration to keep me writing fiction for years. "White Trash in the Snow" could have as many volumes as the Harry Potter series. Unselfishly, though, I wish for Levi and Sunny to be able to enjoy baby Breeze without the drama of the Palins. ( But, if good wishes had power, Diana would still be on magazine covers.)

It takes 2 to cheat. Charles and Camilla were both married to different partners. The sad thing is his parents forced him to get married when he wasn't ready. The in itself very sad. Charles and Diana's married was done long before it got started. Sunny and Levi will do fine. If they are smart they would move to another state.
That picture of Bristol in the toga -- it certainly must have been one of the rejects for the Us magazine cover back in 2010.
You can see the upper outer edge of Bristol's paste-on strapless bra cup, and her flesh-colored Spanx control briefs.
Instead of "hair school", maybe Willow could take a Photoshop class, and help her sister's publicity photos look less tacky...
The girls never had lunch. Sunny incorrectly assumed Bristol was the anon person on facebook trying to school Sunny on Levi's past.
The two have never met for any meeting outside exchanging Tripp.
You have it backwards. Before the 2010 reunion, Bristol never criticized Levi. However she returned to him uot of necessity even though he had just spent the last behaving in reprehensible ways, cementing himself as a loser in most Alaskans eyes. That title had nothing to do with anything a Palin said.
If Sunny is smart, she'll know that remaining in the public eye won't add to her happiness. No child from Levi needs to be so publicly connected to this.
It's sad that Sunny recently said she and Levi wished the baby was here because they're bored.

I know small town areas naturally have a large population of young parents and I'm not condemning that. But even young parents who have the desire to have multiple kids by age 21 need a life outside their kids. People of sound minds understand this.

Sunny & Levi if you are smart you would move away from that town. The Palins will never leave you alone. Levi you seem to have a girl who loves you very much and cares what happens to you. She is your rock. Don't throw her away. Always keep her on that queen's chair. Bristol will never get there with no matter who she meets. She is a very bitter young woman like her mother is a bitter old woman. Mother is the type of person who wants revenge at any cost. Look how she is handling her nasty ways talking about the President of the United States. She hates him so much because he beat her in the election. She can't get over it. Bristol is the same way.
It must kill Bristol to know that Levi is with someone like Sunny. Not only does Levi have a beautiful sister but he has a beautiful partner and mother of his child. Oh the self hatred Bristol must feel.
Sunny and Levi will be fine. When this week is over, Bristol will be seen as the horrible mother she is.
Go back to court, Levi. Tripp deserves better than Bristol.

Lady Diana Spencer was a well bred virgin who attended the best schools (but no college). She went on to be in the royal family.
Sunny is a sweet girl from the meth capital of Alaska who also works in a daycare and may some day aspire to own a daycare. She doesn't know a finger bowl from cat bowl.

Diana and Sunny are like opposite worlds. Your finding similarities told me you look way beyond money and into the heart and mind. Trolls will never get that. Expecially trolls who are or love Palins.

Everyone wants Levi to fight back and speak out, but that isn't how Levi lives. Levi has never talked badly about Bristol and I, too, wondered why he hadn't.
This is what I like about the Palin Place, sometimes there is an idea like this that isn't about birth dates and facebook and stupid things like Willow going to hair school, its about stuff we all have in our heads but hadn't put together. Puzzle pieces, right? The great human puzzle is a fascinating thing. It's not only exposing Babygate, it's figuring out what makes these people tick.
You might have figured out why Levi doesn't act like we want him to act. I'm from the old school that says if you can't say something nice about someone don't say anything at all, but Levi exceeded my wildest interpretations of that.
Going back even another generation (my generation) you could have used Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton to make the point. They had famous fights but after divorcing and being with others they went back and got married again. And divorced. Levi and Bristol aren't the first to have a pattern.
Maybe Levi isn't paid off, maybe he just still loves her. Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Desi and Lucy. Chemistry and explosions and Levi and Bristol.

lol If you only knew what a troll i am NOT. It is so sad that people who are also really fighting the cause are immediately labelled trolls because of a dissenting opinion. Or labelled a Palin.
Really? Comparing Sunny to Princess Diana is ludicrous and does nothing to help the main cause.
I came back only to see if i would be called a troll and viola, I was. Think objectively for just one minute. Do you think this post and the novel help or hinder our cause?
My opinion, (which I am entitled to after nearly four years of following baby hoax and writing countless important letters and complains to various organizations in healthcare, and Alaska airlines among others hoping to get them to open their eyes on babygate,) is that these sorts of posts are unhelpful.
The young Princess Diana and Sunny do have one thing in common: Happiness. Like a chess prodigy who can look at the board and see the correct move without thinking, you just ¨know¨ Levi and Sunny are happy.
The happiest I have ever seen Bristol was when she was near Levi during the ´08 campaign. At the time Bristol believed Levi would be standing by her forever.
Bristol is starving for happiness and behaves as if Levi is the only person on the planet who can provide it.
Why else would Bristol keep crying like a baby for Levi´s attention?

You're also comparing the appearance of a woman in her 60s with a woman in her 30s. The woman in her 60s was married to her first husband for years; obviously, somebody besides Prince Charles looked at her more than once.
Diana was an ignorant girl who refused to take the help the royal family offered. The Queen even spoke to the press herself about lightening up on Diana; it was years before it was realized that Diana was herself informing the press where she would "unexpectedly" turn up to be "hounded" by the paparazzi.
And I've never understood why Charles should be blamed for having affairs when Diana got a pass for hers. Either they were both wrong, or they were both right, but to blame one and say nothing about the other is using a double standard. Personally, I think that since neither of them were setting themselves up as models of family values, their sex lives come under the head of "nobody else's business."
I never understood the public fascination with Diana, but I know she could play the press beautifully- and she knew that the royal family avoided the press, having more experience than she did.
Incidentally, upon her marriage, Diana became HRH Diana, Princess of Wales- not York. Sarah Ferguson married Prince Andrew to become the Duchess of York.
From Bristols reality TV show it seems like Levi hasn't done much to see Tripp. Bristol isn't keeping them apart or anything, he just doesn't seem to be a constant in Tripps life. You'd beable to see this by the way Tripp calls the men IN his life Dad all the time, and refers to Levi as LEVI. Sunny really is important when it comes to the life of this little boy,and its Tripp that should be most important. Tripp is the reason that Levi is even know by the public. Sunny just isn't or shouldn't be relevent to how people see Levi as a good or bad father. At least not until her child is in the world
